Real Estate Brokers Must Hate Economists
Go West - The fee structure is 6% usually ON THE ENTIRE SALE PRICE. So a $1M home sale results in $60K of commissionable revenue....usually split 50/50 b/w the buyers and sellers agents. It is a complete ripoff.

Netflix's Movie Downloads: A Big Yawn
Pachter........now that is a solid source of info on NFLX. If his employment depended on his rating accuracy, he would have been panhandling long ago. He'd be better off just giving up coverage on NFLX. My bet is on NFLX mgmt to fine tune the download option over time. They have proven to be a very adaptable bunch over time.

Move Inc. Attacks House Prices Site Zillow.com
What an arrogant guy! Who would dare price their home w/o consulting a realtor? Remember, these people have passed a test in ethics. This is not rocket science. Look at comparables in your neighborhood and make adjustments based on your square footage and finishes. The fact that realtors can extract 6% based on their skill level is sickening. The only thing that has insulated realtors from disintermediation is the MLS.
