The Lighter Side of Tax Cuts [view article]
In the real world the tax cut was not a tax cut at all - it was a tax shift to the future generations. This generation of voters merely shifted the debt burden to the non voting future generations - let the kids pay for our share. The republicans who voted for this tax shift are giving the conservatives a bad name. They voted to invade Iraq which cost the country a trillion dollars and then simply shifted the cost to the kids to worry about. Shame on you! Kudlow is a right wing republican capitalist who wants complete freedom to carry on their misdeeds (no government interference!)Capitalists are great people - they are the people who make things happen - they create the wealth of the nation BUT they need to be regulated or they will tear the country apart in their greed.

Comparing Income Taxes: Clinton vs. Bush [view article]
I totally agree with mark r - you are a 1st class A. H. - there is nothing conservative about the republicans - They spend money on wars and corruption BUT they don't want to pay for it. Bush tax cuts were tax shifts - not cuts. The republicans NOT conservatives just shifted the tax burden on to our kids to pay for it. Please don't confuse republicans with conservatives. Bush tax shifts are like buying an expensive house and making your kids pay for it. Mar 06 06:02 PMOnly Tax Cuts Will Work in the Long Run [view article]
Conservatives have the right idea - slash taxes - spend money like a drunken sailor, but only on war & the military supply companies, and shift the debt to our kids! They can't vote anyway - so everyone is happy !! Conservatives are the most selfish people in the country and the religious right & the Rush Limbo media will keep them in power. Don H. Who's Going to Buy Our Bonds Now? [view article]
So what if the Chinsese don't buy our bonds. We pay billions of dollars (non-interest paying iou's) for the goods we purchase from them. What are they going to do with all these dollars? Unless they buy bonds with them or purchase our goods or assets they are useless. If they buy foreign bonds with them the foreigners must pay the interest or the foreigners must purchase our goods, etc. As long as they keep selling us their stuff at these low prices we should be happy!novan.com/capitlst.htm
