      Are you nuts? You're certainly out of touch. The iPhone is the preeminent Mobile Internet Device. It's redefining the cell phone market because it does more. It allows you to do more, or if you are not disposed to that level of activity it certainly provides more info and entertainment.

      And don't forget one other category that Apple leads the nation;that is sales per square foot of retail space. They are first by a wide margin. 50% of sales of computers in Apple's retail stores are to "switchers", those leaving Microsoft based systems behind and starting anew with Apple. Their future seems bright. I own AAPL in my IRA.

      Nokia Buys Operating System, to Give Away Software to Other Phone Makers
      I don't think that Nokia had much of a choice. With you tube videos showing an iPhone as the remote for mechanical devices it is clear that they need a giant leap in user friendliness. The Symbian engineers are employees, the iPhone SDK developers are independent , there can be no denying the motivation is different. Nokia has a very tough row to hoe.
