Wall Street Breakfast: Must-Know Newsby SA Editor Rachael Granby- Bank trio becomes duo. Wells Fargo (WFC) will become the largest U.S. bank by branches with its bid for Wachovia (WB), after Citigroup (C) withdrew from compromise negotiations late yesterday on concerns about the quality of some of Wachovia's assets. Wells Fargo, with a bid valued at $11.4B, expects the purchase to be completed by the end of the year, and denies it will have to absorb assets shakier than originally thought.
- Government considers next steps. As the financial crisis continues to worsen, the U.S. government is considering two dramatic steps to turn around, or at least slow, the damage: guaranteeing billions of dollars in bank debt and temporarily insuring all U.S. bank deposits. The moves, which would mark the government's most extensive intervention to date, are in discussion stages only.
- Credit stays frozen. As frozen credit markets refuse to thaw, the cost of default protection on corporate bonds reaches new global records amid investor concerns the credit crisis will trigger corporate failures as companies struggle to finance their businesses. Interbank lending remains limited, and borrowing from the Fed's expanded discount window continued its trend of setting new highs every week, as the total daily average rose to $420.2B vs. $367.8B last week.

Wednesday, October 15.Bullish Calls:Continental Resources (CLR) -- "This is a remarkable decline. All of the high quality ones are down so much, I can't go against it. This is where you pull the trigger.
3M (MMM) -- The moment this stock starts yielding 5%, I'm a buyer. Until then, keep your powder dry.Bearish Calls:Computer Sciences (CSC) -- This is a company that was going to be bought, but they passed up the chance. Now I don't want to buy it."Email continues...
Annaly Mortgage (NLY) -- I think this is a business model that needs to borrow money. Definitively do not buy."
Northrop Grumman (NOC) -- You can't own the defense stocks right now. If I had to own one, I'd look at Lockheed Martin (LMT) with its good dividend. - Stocks & Sectors -SampleSeeking Alpha - Stocks & SectorsInternet

Pair Trade Visa and Capital One
This stock will cross $100 soon
Friday Options Update: FRE, FNM, LEH, WB, AIG, SLM, MER, XLF
Usually i dont provide free services, but due to current sentiment of the market, i think it as a moral responsibility to help you all out.
I dont want All Rich becoming richer and rest keep watching.
So here I will give you great tips to start seeing green and make huge profits.
Are you ready for it. Than here you go, lets go for it..
For all those people who want to buy stocks, invest in VISA(V) or MASTERCARD(MA).
These 2 stocks will be like your extremely high yield savings account right now. almost guaranteed.
Especially Visa is much cheaper than its worth. This stock is going to cross $100 soon no matter what market conditions are, because they
make money on transactions and have nothing to do with subprime and/or housing crisis. Buying Visa will make your net worth rise soon.
Also Buy Energy Stocks like Chesapeake Energy(CHK). This will be a good hedge.
Buy Natural Gas stocks like SouthWestern Energy(SWN). This stock will soar soon as well.
A great stock to make good huge profit is Sirius Satellite Radio(SIRI). Fcc is soon likely to approve its merger with XM.
Sirius is extremely undervalued stock right now. As soon as the merger is approved, it will skyrocket to $10 a stock
Now these are the types of chances you take to go green in this type of market conditions.
Invest 1000$ in sirius today and you will profit 8000$ and that too in next coming days. You cant find a better deal than that.
Healthcare is doing great and will soar,so buy Merck(MRK), Pfizer(PFE) etc.
Microsoft(MSFT) is a great buy at this price as well.I dont trust Yahoo(YHOO), so stay away from yahoo. I think the deal will again collapse
due to greedy board of directors at yahoo and MSFT will trade around $30 very soon.
Buy these stocks on Monday or Tuesday - VISA(V), Sirius(SIRI), Chesapeake Energy(CHK), Southwestern Energy(SWN), Merck(MRK), Pfizer(PFE), Microsoft(MSFT).
This week market will do better, because there will be good earnings and outlook reported so hopefully all the fear will be over
Its more speculation, rumors and fear right now on wall street. Yes also at the same time its time to stay away from Financial Stocks like Wachovia, Bank of America etc.
But this week will be better
And if Citigroup reports better outlook on friday, than this mess should be almost over... and market will skyrocket...
Lots of good stocks are oversold so they will be going up soon.
In the meantime buy some VISA(V) and Sirius(SIRI) it will provide you healthy meals and lots of free lunches
If any of you have questions about your investment please email me
Keep the buying up and see the bulls soon
Regards
Ron
