      Keep dreaming Edster, the last time Mel came out of his cave and spoke, the stock nose dived. You want that again? This stock will hit .50 before it hits $1.00, just ask Weinke from GS, he is the only one who has been right so far.

      Question: Why can't the government come out with a bail out plan for us investors? We have lost alot in Bear Stearns, Lehman, Sirius, and other stocks. How about increasing the deduction from $3,000 to something like $30,000?

      Come on guys, we should be discussing SIRI and its downfall again. Not why George Bush has become one of the best Presidents by avoiding another catastrophy on American soil, keeping our country and citizens safe since 9/11, and keeping the terrorists on the defensive and on the run. I go into airports, stadiums and malls and feel safe to do it, thanks GWB! Hey what about the democratic congress you ask, they had us protected well! NOT!! While the warning signs may have been there for oil and the housing bust, the congress was busy doing more important work, tackling Major League Baseball and Roger Clemens! LOL
      Now whats up with SIRI, or should I ask whats down with it?

      sl62, so what is the point of investing in SIRI if its just going to be kept at .99-1.00? I don't like a stock that should be 1.20 and is only at 1.00. After the market goes up so much, you lose money on a stock that just stays still.

      Someone is just selling in 100 shares to fill the orders. Once they find out who this is and can possibly stop these 100 share sells at .99, this stock can really start moving up high.

      You have to be crazy to still own this stock. We have been waiting for everything that has been posted here to occur, and it has, and look at where we are now. The posters on here said when the stock was $2.20, don't give in to the shorts, then again at $1.50, then at 1.30, and so on. The DOJ, the merger, and finally our savior Mel have done nothing but cause the downward spiral. The only issue now is that with huge losses, how do I get my tax savings? At a limit of $3000 per years deduction, it is going to take me many many years to recoup that. Any good ideas this time?

      What to Expect in Tuesday's Sirius XM Radio Conference
      A jump? A bounce? Come on, for those of us who have been waiting all year for anything, the stock is down a penny today on the verge of Mel speaking. There has been DOJ approval, FCC approval, the shorts covering, this, that, and so many other things that were suppose to bounce this stock higher. So far, the only jump/bounce has been down.

      I wonder if this stock is capable of having 2 up days in a row. What will it take? Shorts having to buy? Another appearance by Mel? It seems like this stock will be having difficulty getting past the $1.50 per share amount. Wow, it seems like just a month ago we were wondering if it would actually get up over $4 per share post merger! lol

      cos1000 - I am not drinking the kool aid. I, like so many others, just believed the pundits that the 2 companies when merged would be better than just one. Its a great product too. Unfortunately, I got into something with shorts, naked shorts, and other stuff that I didn't understand. It just didn't seem to be that complicated and lots of people, including Tyler and Cramer, broke it down very well and made it sound like a good bet. Now I am way down with an average cost around $2.90 so I am kind of stuck without an understanding of which way to go. It makes sense to hold but my gut feeling says this stock is in for another rough week.

      Ok cos1000, so when in your estimation does the panic by the longs end? What do you think the real value of the SIRI shares should be at this time (maybe $2.5 - $3 per share) and when do you think it will get to that price?

      relmor - I think I understand that the shorts new they could cover with the 250 million new shares being put out there. What I don't understand was that I though the new shares were being sold at $1.50 per share. How then does it make sense to short the stock down this low ($1.30)?
      You seem to have more inside knowledge about stocks and how the system works than most on here. Any idea when the end game comes? This week? This month? This year? What range do you think it will go to?
