      Reconsidering Penny Stocks
It appears that SA is taking a balanced and reasoned approach to the most unusual market conditions (at least in my lifetime). Rules are important. However, understanding the reason for the rules and being able to be flexible with the rules where unusual circumstances warrant is the sign of wisdom and acknowledges reality. I support SA's limited coverage of issues trading under $1.00.

      When Stocks Go to Zero
When shares cost less than a cup of coffee, I tend to not buy the coffee because I think about how many share I could be missing out on buying. Maybe I'm weird? Needless to say, I drink a lot of coffee at home now.

      Barron's Banks on $100 Oil
I think I'll continue to stay long my dividend fruitful Canadian Oil and Gas Royalty Trust units. I don't see the Saudi pronouncement of an additional 700,000 barrels added to supply, nor the attempt by the average Americans to reduce oil consumption as being enough to "talk oil down". We didn't get into oil addiction overnight, we won't get out of it overnight. America "needs to go to a meeting".

I'm also long geothermal as a long term solution to base load power demand and a renewable "green" alternative.
