      Adding to My GE Position
      This is one of the few U.S. corporations with global span still dealing with Iran. I've defiinitely got some reservations about adding to my position as long as this continues.

      GM's Last Fatal Mistake
      Fatal errors seem to plague U.S. Auto. They love to kill the goose that lay golden eggs, and fatten up possums on the leavings. The goose in this case is the entire SUV and Light Truck portfolio the public still wants, and commerce needs ... but can't afford to run. Why? Because the engines are inefficient. But these are "working" vehicles and not likely to adapt to GM's chosen alternative, the electric hybrid, adaptation for reasons of limited power and range.

      GM's primary mistake has been ignoring development of alternate engines or modifications for existing engines to maintain utility but improve efficiency. Until now it just hasn't been viewed as that important.
