Freeport McMoran: With Copper Prices Rising, It's Still a Buy
I thought RIO made a great investment when it got into nickel. Stainless steel, alnico magnets - what could go wrong? Then miners go south in general and RIO decides to dilute the stock by selling more. Although the CMO and RSI indicate oversold, the MACD is still going down. I would wait till next week - this stock falls a lot faster than it goes up - you might miss a percent or two, but you can get hammered 6% in a day if you aren't careful.

      Going Back to Natural Gas
XEC has not been at its 50 day ma since January, so unless there is a large correction in the sector, you might not get any. XTO doesn't look too bad here at 62, but it is still too expensive, as are the others you mentioned. APA has a lower P/E, and might do better over the long haul than COG or EOG.

Tele Norte Primed for a Major Breakout
I find the article interesting, and would rather read thoughts from real investors than some I see on Motely Fool written by "grammatically correct writers" who have never invested a dollar in their life.
Globalmacro - a good percentage of their revenue comes from fixed line, and this revenue is declining. They are spending a lot of money to ramp-up their mobile services, and this should help them a lot. VIV may have better mobile services, but they also aren't making much money.

As With Fertilizer Commodities, POT Bubbles
Has everyone forgot the fact that here in the US there are several large ethanol plants due to come online in the next 2 years?
Doesn't this mean that everyone with an acre to till will be trying to cash in even more so than they are now? As demand for ethanol increases, the price will rise and so will the cost of fertilizer. I would think companies like Monsanto, creating new drought resistant corn, would fare even better.

Tele Norte: Grossly Undervalued Global Telecom Gem
Pretty amazing when you consider AMX has a P/E of 19.3 AFTER a 13% drop this morning. Everything else being equal, that would make TNE worth $50 a share.

Potash Should Jump on Massive JPMorgan Estimates Boost
In a perfect world, you would be right. However, the market seems to be controlled by the short sellers, and articles like the one by Chip Hanlon just get more people panicked. I think AG and OIL are too strong here for a steep pullback. I guess we will have to wait for next week to tell whether or not this is just a one day consolidation.

Why I'm Buying More Mosaic Ahead of Earnings
G44 - For what it is worth, I have a lot more than 100 shares of MOS, as well as a large position in POT and a smaller one in MON. Being brave, or perhaps foolish, I held my position in MON yesterday, and will hold my position in MOS thru Friday. I love to see the short sellers have to cover their bets.

I am long about 8% in MOS and should have made it 10% two days ago at 96. Whether people plant corn or soybeans, they still need fertilizer. With contract prices going through the roof, I can't wait till they sign up China for a huge increase.
