      well not so sure but it seems that the oil market will go down for a little while, even more so with a democratic government, investments in alterntive energy will take market share from fossil fuel markets and that means that most of the 'tanker' companies will need to shift their business from oil to other source of commodities, not so sure what would be the next wave of commodities to look for but certainly oil might not be the one to look into.

      Kudos to Assured Guaranty CEO for Ripping Into Moody's
      I aggree the rating agencies 'ratings' are very vague and cloudy, it seems to be very subjective instead of objective, so needless to say that the rating agencies model is flawed and needs to be changed by regulators, this is getting ridiculous senseless.

      yup they are canibalizing themselves in Wall Street by shorting the stock and making money out of the CDS market, this will continue untill regulation and clearing house in the CDS market starts kicking in, in the meantime enjoy the show.

      almost all the units of AIG are profitable except the one involved in MBS, ABS, CDP, SIV's, to my common sense this is probably the only and the only one unit or subsidiary that needs to be sold of at fire sale price, but hey what do I know?

      well the only thing i can say about radian is that if they insured mortgages they are proly going to be ok, because banks won't lend unless the mortgage is insured other than that I dont see much more things positive.
