Goldman's Sirius Call: Solid Thesis, Poor Timing

When I read your comments, I am reminded of other 'brilliant' comentators/analyst who have made predictions and brought down the brokerage firms for whom they work. Historically, the market floor is littered with experts.

May I suggest a little humility.

I think you are smart. This is the game that has been being played for nujmerous months.

Consumers who subscribe to Siri and XM and investors have been hurt by the protests by congressman and the groups who are demanding a piece of the pie.

Wells Fargo (WFC) will become the largest U.S. bank by branches with its bid for Wachovia (WB), after Citigroup (C) withdrew from compromise negotiations late yesterday on concerns about the quality of some of Wachovia's assets. Computer Sciences (CSC) -- This is a company that was going to be bought, but they passed up the chance. Now I don't want to buy it."
