Crude Oil Should Offer Investors Real Opportunity In 2009

Interesting discussion. I am with Michael66, however - there are no reliable statistics about the status of the many alternatives. Just spotty reports from all over. I find it hard to invest on 'predictions'.
Much is going to happen and is allready happening in the field of new energy developments. Unfortunatly I cannot find reliable info/knowledge about how it will all shake out. So wait and see for now - fortunes will be made and lost in this huge space.

Transocean: Drilling For Profits

All these positive comments are scary in its unison. One big storm wiping out an entire rig and killing the crew will take the stock below 100. This is a tough/risky business. Thanks to 'Thinking Ahead' for pointing out their commitment to training and human reserve development. I am a holder of rig for the past 2 yrs. and do not plan to sell anytime soon. But always - beware!

Wells Fargo (WFC) will become the largest U.S. bank by branches with its bid for Wachovia (WB), after Citigroup (C) withdrew from compromise negotiations late yesterday on concerns about the quality of some of Wachovia's assets.
