Scott Snively, CFA, wrote market and sector commentary for Knobias.com in the four years through July 2008. He was also the Knobias research director, responsible for compiling the "Knobias Sleeper Portfolio" of small cap stocks. Prior to Knobias, Snively was a systems manager, retail broker and jet pilot. During his seven year hitch with Knobias, Snively was granted two all expense paid trips to Baghdad with the Mississippi Air National Guard.

Snively retired from the Guard in 2007 and left Knobias in summer 2008. He is currently researching new investment and employment opportunities.
