Tip For Finding The Cheapest Flight, Fast
It can take all day to research flight prices online, because you have to start afresh on each travel site. Here's how to cut your search time down at least 4x -- use a shortcut provided by Google.
Let's say you want to go from New York to LA next week. Just type in those two locations -- 'new york los angeles' -- in Google's search box, and at the top of the results screen you'll see fields for your departure and return dates. Open the Expedia, Hotwire, Orbitz, and Hotwire links in separate tabs/windows, then compare the available flights and prices. Voila...
Update: Commentor 'beezer34' adds -- You can also use sites such as Mobissimo, which searches a number of the major comparison engines at once, or Booking Buddy which allows you to enter the details once and then search dozens of other sites with just one click.
Thanks!

How lame is this: You can't use airport codes to start the search. It has to be city names...
