Tip for Ending Pre-Screened Credit Offers
If you have a good credit history, you may be receiving a torrent of mail and marketing calls for pre-screened credit and insurance offers. If you'd prefer not to receive these offers, you can opt-out (from the four largest sources, at least...) in one of two ways: (1) Go to www.optoutprescreen.com and fill out the form, or (2) call 888-567-8688. You can choose a permanent opt-out, or a limited-term one.
