In case you missed it both EmigrantDirect.com and INGDirect.com recently increased their interest rates on savings accounts.
Emigrant is now offering a 3.5% annual percentage yield (APY) on savings accounts while ING is paying 3.15%.

Is EmigrantDirect any quicker than ING on getting the money deposited into your checking account? I sometimes need cash the same/next day, and my friend with ING said it sometimes takes 3-5 business days for the withdrawal from ING to be deposited to his bank account.
