A tip for month-to-month apartment lease holders

If you sign a month-to-month lease, be aware that your landlord can terminate your lease or raise your rent on short notice. Typically, even on month-to-month leases, you are still required to give written notice of your intention to move out 60 days in advance. But for those unsure of their next step in life, a month-to-month lease is not a bad option.
