The Chrysler Group of DaimlerChrysler AG (DCX) recently announced that it "will roll out a new program of discounted vehicle pricing in July in a move intended to clear an over-inventory of unsold 2006 models."
Chrysler will become the first of the Detroit-based automakers this year to offer employee-level pricing at the peak of the busiest sales season. Ford and GM may well follow suit.
So wait until July deals start showing up to buy a new car from the "Big 3". It could save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a new car purchase.
